Klaus Michael Alenfelder specializes in anti discrimination law. He represents victims of discrimination, employees, trade unions and works councils across Germany. He is admitted to practice in Germany.
A significant part of his work consists of seminars targeted at lawyers, judges, senior officials, HR Executives with leading national and international blue chip companies both in Germany and on a EU wide level.
In October 2005 he gave a speech at the Legal Seminar of the EU in Brussels on the implementation of Directives 2000/43/EC and 2000/78/EC: “The implementation in Germany – remedies and sanctions”. In February 2007 he provided a critique in Brussels of the new anti-discrimination legislation in Germany and the problems which exists in the implementation of the law at the AGE General Assembly 2007.
Since 2010 he gives regularly presentations for legal experts with the Academy of European Law. The Academy of European Law is a non-profit public foundation that provides training in European law to legal practitioners. Its patrons include most EU member states and it is supported by the EU. ERA organizes conferences and seminars around Europe. Klaus Michael Alenfelder addressed issues such as "Remedies and Sanctions [2.907 KB] ".
He regularly publishes editorials and books on employment and anti discrimination law.
